Eugene, Oregon Has Over Twenty Active Neighborhood Associations

The City of Eugene has an active neighborhood program with 23 neighborhood associations.  If you live in Eugene, Oregon, or are thinking about moving here, you can enter your address to find out which association you belong to.  Regular meetings are held and grant monies are often available to fund approved neighborhood projects.  If you're a real estate agent, these associations could be good organizations to get involved with to help establish yourself as the neighborhood real estate expert.Eugene, Oregon Neighborhood Associations

Michelle: When I moved to Eugene, I found it fascinating that there were so many neighborhoods with their own characteristics and identities.  There's even a Friendly Area Neighborhood.  It's not named because of the residents' disposition, but for a much-loved 19th century mayor named Samson H. Friendly.
