For over 30 years, the No Name Garage in west Eugene, Oregon has been the place to take your car for repair. They specialize in Volkswagen cars and buses, as well as other German cars. That's wise in Eugene, which is probably second to Berkeley, CA for the number of Volkswagens traveling the local roads.
I noticed this garage, not for its reputation, but for its unusual fence. The entire chain link fence surrounding the property is slatted with old snow skis. One wonders how long it took the owners to collect the hundreds of used skis lining the fence.
The garage has only a few reviews on Yelp and Google+, mainly from satisfied Volkswagen owners. It's located in an industrial park next to the Overtime Grill off of 11th Avenue and Bertelsen. The garage with no name can be found "Only in Eugene."
